Offshoots Workshop from the Greenhouse Education Project - Design and Print your own tote bag featuring plants and insects with Marian Hill

The Greenhouse Education Project Presents Offshoots - A public programme of activities, workshops and events for young people in Bath

Marian Hill is a freelance illustrator with many years of working for a variety of publishing clients. She also tutored illustration degree students at UWE Bristol for over 20 years and now also runs creative workshops for all age groups. Marian uses collage to create her professional illustrations but also loves painting and drawing from life. Marian’s illustration website is www.marianhill.co.uk and information about her current project Buzz & Scuttle can be found at buzzandscuttle.com

Get outside and explore local insect habitats. Spot what invertebrates and plants you can see and learn more about how different plants/habitats attract different creatures and the reasons for this. Design and print your won tote bag featuring plants and insects. Talk about how art can support environmental research and ecology.
