Batheaston was twinned with the Loire Valley village of Oudon in 2005. Oudon is on the North bank of the Loire River close to Nantes and has a population similar in size to Batheaston
The main events for the two villages are alternate annual visits in early summer to each other’s village, staying in each other’s houses and taking part in communal and individual activities.
This year it is our term to host and we have a weekend of activities planned - for information to follow
