Space Rocks - A journey from just before the sun formed to the solar system we see around us today

This workshop will use practical demonstrations to help understand how the microsopic dust came to be as the first solar dust bunnies, formed the first rocks and finally came to form mini planet type things.

Learn about and discuss:

• How the moon was formed

• How craters came to be

• Rocks Whizzing around the solar system

• If space rocks can be found in our own homes, gardens and communities

What to expect:

• Presentation

• Demonstrations

• Interactive Experiments

• Practical activities

For ages 6-10 years
